Like so many other "props" used in magic. Metals especially planetary metals can be used in ritual and in spell casting. Check out the table below to see the uses metals can have in your magical endeavours.

* I have included substitutes for certain metals that are hard to find in this day and age and also for the poisonous metals such as Mercury and Lead. Don't want you carking it from heavy metal poisoning like the Alchemists of old.
