A spell box can be of any size usually made from wood but steel is also acceptable. The lid should fit properly and securely. Ideally you should construct your own box. But cleanse and consecrate if you get one used for another purpose or one you have purchased.

Cleansing Procedure:

On the night of the Full Moon raise the boxes lid, hold the box up into the sky....

Whilst facing the direction of Earth say "By the powers of Earth" Face the direction of Air say "By the powers of Air"

Face the direction of Fire "By the powers of Fire" Face the direction of Water "By the powers of Water"

"I bless and empower this spellbox you are now a tool of magic, assist me in my endeavors, So it is done!"

As with regular magical procedure at the correct moon phase. Charge and place any ingredients for your intent in the box, such as herbs, stones, sympathetic objects, parchment with magical writing etc. When you do this the charged ingredients and their energies mix and merge and is trapped within. Only when the lid is lifted can the energies escape to do their work. Try to make the night you reopen the box a significant one i.e. One month from the time you placed the ingredients inside or on a particular day such as Sunday for Prosperity.
